Client Services include
building wheelchair ramps, painting, cleaning gutters,
repairing porches and steps, raking leaves, etc.
Priority is given to elderly or disabled people who meet income
guidelines and who cannot do the repairs themselves and have no
able-bodied family members who might do the work. Requests or referrals for projects are received from individuals, churches, and various non-profit organizations (e.g., Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Central Illinois Agency on Aging, City of Peoria). Potential clients should fill out the His Helping Hands Homeowner Application Form. Completed applications must include responses to all questions in the application form, verification of the household's annual income, and verification of homeowner's insurance.
